The Echo of My Desire
COMING IN 2027
Some Gifts Should Remain Undiscovered.
Dorian has always known there is something different about him. He senses things other people miss: a thought concealed beneath a polite answer, a desire hidden so carefully that its owner may not understand it. Then the impressions grow stronger. More precise. More useful. Far more dangerous.
About the Book
The Echo of My Desire is a supernatural thriller about hidden ability, temptation, dangerous power, and the price of becoming capable of influencing what other people want.
As Dorian’s gift develops, he learns that desire leaves traces. Some can be followed. Some can be changed.
Every choice pulls him farther from the person he believed himself to be. Every success makes the next temptation easier to justify.
And something beyond his understanding has begun responding to the echoes he creates.
Desire Is Never Simple
People want love and freedom, success and safety, revenge and forgiveness, recognition without exposure, power without responsibility.
The more clearly Dorian sees what people desire, the less certain he becomes that anyone truly knows themselves.
Including him.
From the Editor
The manuscript was found inside a violet folder marked with no title.
The first page identified Dorian by name. The second contained a note in K.D.’s handwriting:
He will tell you what he wants.
He has not.
